I have gotton incorrect meds given to me & worthless care

I am writing you a letter about the entire store,my treatment from these people is awful & your people owe me for the treatment I get! Wrong meds are given to me,or they don't keep them in stock,& then I go without no medication,& I am a epileptic,I have NOT got any respect for these people at this rite aide because the way they have treated me is what I call the wrong aide,you people owe me for all the mis treatment I get from this store,JERRY BARBREE ps.what are you going to do for me as a costumer?

Waited in drive though for 10 mins

i was in the drive-in line. there was a car in front of me,that would not move he sat there until his prescription was ready. there were 3 cars behind me we waited at least10 min or more. why couldn't they tell him to go around at the end of the line. this is not the first time this has happened. i go there once a month but getting tired of this. i will start looking for another store if this keeps happen thank you store no is #04279 in middlefield Ohio. gas cost to much to waste it in line. its too cold outside to shut the car off

The drive thru is ONLY for moms with young kids, seniors who have trouble walking in the store and people too sick to come in. It is NOT for lazy, rude slef centered people who think they are the only person in the world.

Yet that is exactly the bulk of the people we see in the drive thru. I guess there will always be self centered jerks.

it really is the same thing in the store that it is in the drive thru, except you are wasting your gas in the drive thru, customers refuse to move thinking that they will loose their place in line, except you have allready been helped and inside mcdonalds customers usually move out of the way to let the next person be helped, but they don't do that in the rx at all, maybe its becase we are not allowed to say next.

you drop off your prescription at the window, you leave and come back within a reasonable amount of time to pick-up...you do not stay parked and waiting...this is a healthcare function not a fast food joint...as a pharmteck for a major chain i am amazed at what a cavalier attitude some people have concerning their "important" prescription...if you want to wait then park your car and come inside

This isnt McDonalds, we dont have a drive thru to save you time, there is no 5 minute guarantee. The drive thru is for our senior and disabled customers, for their convenience.

We will not ask people to pull over to the side because we dont have service out to the car, that's what the window is for. So dont worry, your fries wont be getting cold, relax or take a walk inside.

Rite Aid Manager Incompetent Sold Date Expired $100 & $50 Visa Giftcards

Yesterday bought 2-$100 & 2-$50 Visa Gift cards. At home saw expiration of 12/09 on all. Phoned store was told policy was not to refund Visa Gift Cards & even if they would they didn't have enough cash! Called 800 # with complaint said they would fix then got call from store that they would refund. Took my time to go back had to wait while she checked out 6 other people then refused to give back the $5.95 fee on each I wouldn't sign until she did but she ended up shorting me. Rude & *** so bought Giftcards at Walgreens.

This is an issue to take up with your insurance company and not Rite Aid. I would be more mad at the insurance for trying to pass the buck.

I don't agree with how Rite Aid handled it but your going after the wrong people. Also if you feel Rite Aid is over charging you then why not go to a different pharmacy instead of not taking your meds?

OK FRIENDS, I NEED YOUR HELP!!! So I really have not wanted to post my beyond awful Rite Aid trip I had the last week of June but I now feel I need to and am in search of some advise. I am going to make a long story as short as possible though ( I hope ) It goes like this... Customer (that's me) goes into local rite aid w/ coupons in hand DUH... Pick's out a few item's and heads to check out. Cashier although very, very nice said she had to double check that she was able to take more than 1 (not a problem as I knew it was allowed) In enters the not so friendly manager who seemed very, very irriated and wanted to argue about my coupons. I was very nice and explained I had read R.A's coupon policy and felt as though I could use these after a min or two she said fine. The very nice cashier finished ringing up my order and suggested I should call corp. and get the coupon pol. in writing. Good idea I thought. She then asked the not so friendly manager to get me the #. Right then I knew I was going to have a problem. The manager tossed the papers she was holding down and walked into a back room. Now this is where I probly should have chose to walk away but I did not, instead I took out my cell and began recording the counter top as soon as she walked back out. I asked her to please write her name and explained to her that she made me feel very unwanted in her store. She completly ignores everyword. Next is where I REALLY should have decided to walk out but again did not LOL... After she handed me the # I lifted up my cell to show her I was recording and said exactly this "I am so glad I am recording this right now so I can show corporte how rude you treat your customer's using coupons." Then the manager decides to reach across a counter and HIT ME! Yes, she hit me. Now this point I will admit I was now a ***. When she hit me my phone fell, cracking the screen as well as leaving scratches on the back. I was also bleeding on my left hand ( i will admit it was a scratch from her finger nail I think, not a life threating injury!) I picked my phone up and then said "Now you really *** yourself, I'm calling the cops. I can't believe you just hit me" She then denied hitting me and I said "ok, it's on video" Well, from there the cops come she gets charged w/ battery they take my video for evidence as well as R.A's video. Here's where my problem is, RITE AID is being complete jerks about all of this. #1 the cop calls me 3 days later to let me know they turned the case over to the d.a. and wanted to let me know that rite aid chose to suspen this manager for 3 days. (he did say he wasn't sure he could really be saying this but felt I should know) I can not believe a manager can do this and not be fired on the spot! #2 All I want is for R.A. to fix the crack in the screen on my phone and they will not return my calls! I worked for rite aid for two years and the pay was squat-but I loved my job. Luckily- I had great bosses.

Not all rite aids are like this. But you can call trying the corperate office.

There is a number that will get you started (1-800 bad apples.) That's not a joke, its a real number. Good luck to you.

Huge Bonuses? Obviously you haven't been paying attention.

The largest bonus I have seen was $2000.00. And that was before taxes. No one is paid well, especially not the management. They make about $5.00 p/hr when you count the 70 hour work week.

Coupon fraud is rampant and the managers are being threatened by the corporate office to keep an eye out or lose their job.

In this economy, it is better to *** off the cheapskate who is trying to get something for nothing, otherwise known as the "cherry-picker" who only buys items on sale, than to risk losing your job accepting questionable coupons. Contrary to what consumers may think, no business is required to accept coupons.

I do contract work. I am 70 years old and work hard and do the best I can do.

I also live in a small rural town where Rite Aid has a store. I did some contract work in that store and the manager decided she didn't like me. She was rude and offensive. She carried her offensive behavior over when I was a customer.

I would go into the store and if she saw me she would glare at me, as if my being a customer had something to do with contract labor. I was going to write to Rite Aide Corporate, but after reading your complaint I think corporate would ignore me.

I think I will just tell people to not shop at Rite Aide. The management is much better at Walgreens and at Walmart and should you have problems they are eager to help you.

Okay, so let me tell you I'm sure this isn't the first time this has happened. Rite Aid is a joke.

I used to work there when I was in high school. The managers not only treat the customers like ***, but the employees as well. People working there get paid, while they get huge bonuses every year. My managers treat most customers in a rude manner, and never get in trouble for it.

The manager there before I quit would constantly be making rude, innapropriate, sexual jokes.. and guess what? Nothing was done about it. He would also freak out and start screaming, and cursing..

even in front of kids when the slightest thing happened.

Don't shop there.. they don't care about customers or employees.

Managers and part time pharmacy boss

I took in a script 3 weeks ago, to have it filled. the person was part time and this was on a Thursday. He said that they were out of the duri-gesic patches that I need/ I was told they would be ordered on Friday and they would be in on Tuesday. They were not in and I was called the following Wednesday night and was told the ware house was outof them and I would have to go to different stores to see if they had them. in mean time i talked to linda I thing is manager, She could care less if I got my medicine or not.She ran and hide in her office, and would not talk to me.I got the patches today after I went to Dearborn to pick them up

Since when is the front end manager responsible for the pharmacy? The pharmacy has a Pharmacy manager.

This is due to federal regulations regarding prescription medication. You have a problem with the pharmacy, talk to the pharmacy manager. You have a problem with toilet paper not being in stock, talk to the Store Front end manager. They are two seperate businesses, with two seperate license.

Of course the manager doesn't have any say in whether you get your prescriptions. She does not have a pharmacy license.

Rite Aid lost my Pictures

I am complaining about Rite Aid at 2833 Broadway in Manhattan because I put in pictures on Wednesday April 22, and kept coming back everyday and getting the run around, only to find out that my pictures can't be retrieved from the machine and all they can say is "sorry." Well no one is more sorry than I am, because I borrowed that camera and 61 pictures and 4 collages are gone forever!!! They should not still have that machince as an option if I can't get my pictures off of them. They are the worst and I am pissed!!!

Maybe there was an error and your film was destroyed. That can sometimes happen on any machine in any store. I don't agree with how they handled it but these things do happen.

Availbility of generic for toprol xl 25mg

I was told today that generic for toprol xl 25mg was no longer available. I left and went to wamart and cvs pharmacy in same area, i was told that there had been a problem in the past but it was now available and they would have no problem filling RX with generic. My wife and myself are on fixed income and cant afford name brand when generic are available. I will be moving all RX if this matter is not corrected. RiteAid is out of control, as a similar thing happened to me. This may be their new initiative to make more money.

I also had them switch drug dosage.

You are lucky that they advised you. Go to the pharmacy board of the state you are in and file a complaint.

It shouldn't happen, but, Rite Aid has such a *** computer system we can't tell if you have other RX's. When I worked for Osco the computer whould tell me if there were other RX's and what was going on with them.

This will continue to happen....seriously as long as the right customer leaves with the right medicine I'm relieved. Rite Aid is really bad.

We have no breaks in the pharmacy, we can't really use the bathroom. People just yell at us most of the day.

The Pharmacy

The lady working at the Rite pharmacy in San Clemente is rude and should be terminated. Tonight was not the first night I have interacted with her. She has helped me in the past, seeing how I live only across the street on West Canada. I go to Rite Aid to pick up any merchandise I may need and also once a month anyways for a prescription. Tonight she was rude and insulting and actually refused to ring me up. I asked for a manager and she said, "good, I'm busy". I did, however; tell her that she was *** rude". As a walked away mind you she was the only one working and no one was in line, she says,"watch your mouth". Once I talked to the manager, I felt as though nothing was going to be taken care of and she was not going to even be talked to. The manager was polite and apologized, but really this was the worst experience I have ever had there. I did not get her name, but she is an older lady with redish/brown hair. There is also an older blolnde lady and older gentlemen that work there and let me just say that they will be the only reason I go there for anything.They are great with customer service and have always been friendly and warm. CVS is only a block away. I have told pretty much anyone that has come into contact with me about my experience with the pharmacy lady. Hope something will come of this, but if not at least I've gotten this somewhat of my chest. A.N.

Discrimination Against an Community Activist

After working out @ the gym i went shopping with my 7yr old son, then we stop & got ice cream we then walked over to riteaid to get a product i had paid 4.it was damaged so i was to get another but forgot 2, got home then i remembered i called & was told 2 come back & get my item. while i was shopping @ the riteaid the manager was watchin me looking @ me suspiciously i then asked to get my item the manager was unprofessional, rude was talking to the employees in very disrespectful voice tone manner he then kicked me & my son out the store for no reason.

Rite aid in the bronx NY

Every time i go to the ride aid next to my house on bunside avenue in the bronx i have to make a big line to pay and most of the time is 2 or 3 employee talking or a employee fixing merchadise and only one register open.Today a lady has to put her ice cream back because icecream melt.two day ago i went to get a water and i left because line was so long.every body was *** today about the line we ask the ladies to open another register and she said noap.Manager was looking and he did not did anything and there was people walking out the door and the alarm for stolen stuff was going off nest to the manager and nobody was even loking.

Rite Aid Drug Stores

I used to work at the Rite AID in Saginaw MI. I was fired because the manager thought I was talking to the police about her sleeping with another employee"s 14 year old son. Thats rape here in Michigan. I was turned into Loss Prevention as a thief,but it was the manager and her friends who were doing the stealing and blaming other innocent employee"s. As with our District Manager (Frank M.)and Loss Prevention(Brad S.) they took the managers (Becky) side, and I was fired for cash shortages on my till. Becky and her friend Connie (the mother of the 14yr old boy) did all my checkouts and I didnt know anything was wrong untill they confronted me and fired me. You bet Im pissed, I will call the police and local news agencies to get the word out to as many people as I can ! Dont take your sons into a Saginaw Mi. Rite Aid

the above story is most likely being a x manager for the co...this is just the tip of the iceberg...i personally have had contact with more then one employee...i have seen them take money from tills to set a person up....the advancement is a joke..if your not liked you have a problem...i worked in the sf bay area...and had a district manager call and cuss me out on my answering machine...they keep there stores so low in labor impossibe to provide any real customer service.....i could go on...
