Rite Aid in Blythe, California - Manager that lies

My 14 year old son (Wyatt) and his friend (JB) went to Rite Aid to buy an intertube for their bike. A short time later JB called his Dad (Jason) and told him they were accused of stealing by the Manager (James Vagts). James took them outside and told them that he saw them open a package. He also made them empty their pockets and *** their shoes. He told them he had them on video camera. JB and my son tried to tell him they did not take anything and they had money for a bike tube. James did not listen. The boys did as they were told and of course nothing was found stolen. James told them they were not allowed in the store ever again. Jason came to my house and my husband and I went down to Rite Aid with him and the boys. We confronted James and the first words out of his mouth were, "I never accused them of stealing, I kicked them out because they were horsing around and tearing into packages". He proceeded to show us a tiny package of bike tube patches that he said they tore open. Now I can believe the horsing around, but why would the boys, or any teenage boy for that matter call their parents to tell them they were accused of stealing. No boy I know would say this if it didn't happen. We gave James our piece of mind and took all the appropriate numbers. I am very pissed off about this and will never enter that store or any Rite Aid store again. Rite Aid needs to send their Managers to training and teach them not to lie to customers.

Rite Aid's major problem is the CYA (cover your ***) done by those pharmacy supervisors and district managers. Unfortunately, they find nothing right that the pharmacists do, and keep the help in turmoil. At one time we had 3 district managers in as many months. ...

Rite Aid - They are truly scary

The Rite Aid Pharmacy near me is actually scary, Thank God, as an RN, I know my meds, they can never seem to get the scripts correct, prime example I am on a med for hypertension, that's dosage is 100mg they filled the prescription, and when I got home, and looked at the bottle, they had given me the wrong dosage, my script was for 100mg and 30 pills they gave me 25mg, and 30 pills, when I called and went back, they acted like this was no big deal. Well it was, they could have killed somebody, especially a senior citizen. Two other times for a different med, quite expensive, I had a script for 30 pills, instead they gave me the whole bottle, 90 pills, now that should have cost $ 150.00 for that bottle, instead I paid $ 50.00. but I think the worst was I had just got my dad home from the hospital for congestive heart failure, the MD told me what to do, so I needed a few more pills to get thru the weekend, the drug was a diuretic (water pill), and generic, the script had been filled there, they wouldn't give me the drug, their reasoning, the insurance company won't let us, I literally begged for 3 *** pills, finally told them if my dad ended up back in the hospital, I would tell the insurance company the real reason. Finally when I said I would pay out of pocket for the meds, about $3.00 they gave me the meds, the issue was never the insurance company it was the $$. Personally, I think the pharmacist & techs need a refressher course on how to pour and dispense meds. And then they make a big show out offering counseling when you pick up a script? Yeah realy, they couldn't counsel a flea, obviously. They are a pharmacy that cannot be trusted, to dispense the proper amount of drug, or the correct dosage.

Rite Aid

They filled my long acting insulin like it was fast acting insulin. I was so sick until I talked to my dr. who fixed it for me. Now Im getting better, but they almost killed me. I have also gotten expired test strips. Now they are like I cant believe that. I am not too sure about trusting them with all of our rxs. Its scary how sick I got from the wrong type of insulin. I felt like I was on a roller coaster. Now its going to be a long time before I am better. Thanks a lot.

Rite Aid in Reston, Virginia - Doctor's name and contact information incorrect on prescription

Rite Aid on Hurffville - CrossKeys Road, Sewell, NJ: I picked up a prescription on March 3, 2012, and the Doctor's name and contact information were incorrect on the label. I googled the phone number and found that it was from a doctor's office in Maryland, but the doctor was not with that practice. This is not the first time this has happened. In addition, when I picked up the same prescription, they had my husband's address in North Wales, Pennsylvania. We live in Sewell, NJ. Who is recording this information? This is a disgrace! If there had been a problem with the medicine, Rite Aid would not have been able to reach the prescriber for us. I will avoid Rite Aid in the future, as this is a recurring problem and it is scary!

Rite Aid

I have been shopping at Rite Aid store in Rancho Palos Verdes, Ca. for many years but recently I hav'nt been happy. It seems like once you get to know where everything is located corporete office desides to re-arrange the store. Secondly and of most inportance is the prescriptions which I purchase a great deal of, If you notice that the pr # are reduced in size where as I have a difficult time reading them being 71 years old but most of the public ordering multible drugs are my age or older. Also if you notice the numerical number 0 it has a slash thru it I dont know if its a 0 or an 8 its very confusing when I order my drugs over the phone. As we get old things like this should be made more easy then harder. hopefully they can correct these hardships for older customers. MK-RPV.yh

Rite Aid in King Of Prussia, Pennsylvania - Slow Service and Messy Store

The Rite-Aid at 1628-36 Chestnut Street is an absolute disgrace. Today I went in to buy a birthday card and the selves were empty. I asked one of the workers if there were any cards and she looked at me like I had three heads and did not respond. There were boxes all over the aisles, actually would not be surprised if someone trips over the boxes and gets hurt. They only have two cashiers working during lunchtime hours and at 5:00pm. The size of the line is normally around 10 - 12 people and the wait is normally longer than 10 mins to purchase something. It is an absolute disgrace and I've seen many people walk out because of the long wait.
