I came in contact with a cashier (name tag Lisa) on May 24, 2010 at the RiteAid store on High St. in Somersworth, NH. Lisa was sneezing, coughing and sharing her flu virus germs with me and everyone else who she serviced. She was so sick, she could barely stand. I even...

Rite Aid - disrescptful to customers

On February 18, 2010 at approximately 8:50pm I was shopping at Rite Aid Store # 2612 (344 Avenue X Brooklyn, NY 11223) and witnessed an unpleasant situation. When coming to the cash register, I noticed a cashier talking on his cellular phone and scanning the customer's merchandise. The customer, a young lady was in front of me. Standing behind her, I thought to my self that it's unethical, rude and disrespectful to scan customer's items and at the same talk on the phone about his personal matters. It gives off a feeling that customer is not important and thus it's alright to not pay attention to the customer at all. Anyhow, it appeared that the consumer-lady had the same feelings. She told the cashier that she wanted to talk to the manager and told the manager that it's not right when the cashier talks on his cellular phone and at the same time rings the cash register accounting for her money. In fact she bought over $100 of items from the store. Once she left the manager and the cashier started to joke about the situation. This gave me an unpleasant feeling since the lady was right and I expected that the manager will at least give a warning to the cashier, however the warning never came. The whole unpleasant situation was just a joke to both of them. After this how can a good minded person shop at the store employed by people lacking human ethics. Above is the support for the: "Rite Aid is Not a place where customers are treated with respect and they feel appreciated and welcome."

As a store manager at Rite Aid, this behavior is totally unacceptable. This store is very poorly run and would never happen in any store I have been in.

No they will not. I have had two complaints with Rite Aid and both times the call was never forwarded to the Pharmacy who created the issue.

There is no such thing as a District Manager, or at least one who cares about customers. Then again if the CEO were required to return customer concerns, I am sure these issues would actually be addressed.

Rite Aid is not alone, CVS and Walgreens are just as guilty. They appear to have little respect for their customers.

I Challenge any corp person to actually try and lodge a concern and see that it never resolves anything.

just call 1800 rite aid and register your complaint it will go to that stores district manager, and the store manager WILL apologize to you, and Will be repremanded.

Rite Aid in San Francisco, California - $500. drawing

We can't enter your $500.weekly drawing. Like a lot of people I use an older computer with an old version of windows, windows 95. We don't have windows XP or 2000. We current have a dozen different rite aid receipts with drawing numbers we would like to enter and are unable to access your web site. when I try to access www.tellriteaidstore.com I'm told my system is incompatible. Will you please adjust your site so we may access it???? You could setup a site along side your single check rebates site, even a mailing address would be better than nothing. Betty Kerr

I'm surprised that you are still using a Windows 95 machine. I now use Windows 7 (new PC), but have used XP since 2003 prior.

I assume you still use dial-up, also. It is a good idea for Rite Aid to make their site compatible with any computer, whether it's Windows (including 95/98/2000/NT/ME), Mac, or Linux. Fact is. Microsoft hasn't supported 95 in years, and most Windows users use XP, Vista, or 7.

If you want to enter your Rite Aid Game Of Life codes, you may want to use a friend's or family member's computer (that runs XP or later), or use a computer at a library. Most websites today are incompatible, or run poorly, on older Windows OS's.

I think you are just racist and ignorant. How was the pharmacist supposed to know that you usually get your script for 30 dollars instead of 45?

It was your responsibility to call and activate the new card in the first place. If you had done that, then you would have found out that your old discount card still worked. Then you could have told the tech before you refilled your script to use the previous discount card. You're a twit and an imbecile and it's ignorant consumers like you that make me itch.

The pharmacist is busy making sure everyone's scripts are correct and saving lives in the process. Shut up and stop your ***

Rite Aid in Rochester, New York - OUt of stock item for over a month- still advertised

I can't believe you continue to advertise the item: 5 piece tray table set for $24.99 WHEN your stores in the Greece (Rochester) area do not have it in stock. I desperately needed the item during the holiday so I went to the newest Rite aid store on West Ridge Rd. Of course the store was out of the item. A wonderful manager called 9 of the nearest stores, realizing how important the location of this item was to me.. None of these stores had the item in stock. I was told that most of the stores had received only 1 of the item . Please don't advertise an item that will not be readily available. June Crosby

Funny how the Spam (ham) at our local Rite Aid had been advertised for two weeks, but they've been out of stock for two months straight. I go back and check every week, but the shelf still remains empty. It frustrates me whenever I go to Rite Aid the first day the sale starts only to find that many things are already out of stock.
