Call the drug company... Why is the drug back ordered???

What if the pharmcy tried to order it every day for a week, hoping it would come in, and it keeps saying back ordered?

Why are so many drugs in short supply in this industry??? Maybe it's not the store, but the industry back orders that are a problem, and trust me, everywhere you go will have the same issue.

Rite Aid in Los Angeles, California - Never got medicine on time and staffs are highly imcompetent

This is the complaint regarding following Rite Aid store: 334 S Vermont Ave Los Angeles, CA 90020 Complaint: Never ever I had my prescription drug on time in the past 2 years. Recent One: My doctor called for the change of drug for my wife to the above mentioned pharmacy and when I went to Pharmacy to pick up my medicine they told me that they have not received any message from the doctor's office. I went back to the doctor's office and they confirmed that they have sent the message to the correct Rite Aid pharmacy. Again went to the pharmacy but to my surprise they again told me that they have not received the message. Doctor's office called for the third time. This time before going to the pharmacy I thought to confirm with Rite Aid first but they did not pick up the call. I tried again and this time they picked and dropped the call. I called again and I was told that they will answer me shortly and phone was put on hold and they never answered. Earlier for my own drug, I had came out of emergency and went to the above mentioned Rite Aid for my medicine. when I was told that it will take more than 2 hours for the medicine to be ready I insisted to ready it a bit fast. Then they told me that they are not able to verify my insurance. So I have to purchase the medicine on full price. I was told that once they will verify the insurance they will call me and they will refund the money. They never called me. I went back to Rite Aid after few weeks and was told that their company policy does not allow to refund after so many days. This is frustrating to the degree of infinity.

RITE AID MGR *** OFF CUSTOMERS.

i am a 74 yr old male with a pot belly and WHITE HAIR. The BARSTOW (Ca.) store mgr will not refrain from requiring me to announce my D.O.B. every time I'm in there to purchase alcohol products. Only an *** or *** HOLE would require that of customers who have made it clear several times that his insistance on D.O.B. annouoncements is a FRIGIN WASTE OF TIME for both of us. Most other employees are able to sell me what I came in there to buy, WITHOUT that waste of TIME. That store mgr. needs to be given a different store - that I don't visit, so I can continue purchasing my alcohol products at the local BARSTOW store.

Wow, the store manager needs to be transferred to a store *you* don't stop at.....entitled much?! He's asking because it's policy. Don't allow your own insecurity to fool you into believing that others care about your age; they don't.

It is not only policy, but the registers require the employee to either swipe an ID card or manually type in the date of birth before it will allow them to complete the sale. It's the same for any product with an age restriction (tobacco products, certain cough medicines, etc.). There is nothing the cashier can do except ask for and type in the information.

i work at a rite aid and it is company policy. and yes we can get fired for not asking.

in fact the company has people come in and act like they may be underage just to see if we will still ask for their i.d. and birthdate ,etc. if the ''actor'' is really underage and we fail to ask for their i.d., we will be fired on the spot for not following policy.

so before you rant, please understand that our job is at stake. yes it may be weird to ask an older gentleman for his birthday but we are only doing what we are told.

it's a company policy and a law. they have to ask.

they don't care about your age any more than we care about your pot belly, but they are required to ask and required to have you answer; they can get fired for not doing it. stop whining.

you say you're 74? you still need to grow up.

come on get over it.take it as a compliment and say thank you.

It's store policy to ask for a ID or date of birth. Make your life easier and just take your id out of your wallet and show him.

the manager is just doing what the company says to do. Don't get your depends all up in a bunch dude
