Rite Aid - Kidcents at Rite-Aid
I just bought two items totaling $2.26, paid $5.01 to get three quarters back as I needed change for the bus.The cashier gave back my penny and two dollar bills.
When I asked for the right change he said that an automatic charge of 74 cents for "Kidcents" was added to my bill???!!! He said I must have signed up for the Kidcents program. I said I never heard of the program and definitely never signed up. "Can you take me off that program?", I asked.
He said no you have to unsubscribe on line. I cancelled my purchase and came to my computer but Good luck finding how I can do that. Is it fair to make the entry to the program as easy as a touch on the screen by somebody, who could be the cashier!!! and make it so difficult to opt out???
I think that is clearly an imposition not a gentle request for a donation...I am not going there any more...
