Dog in store

A customer brought his leashed dog into the store. Why is this allowed? I feel a dog sniffing at medical supplies is not sanitary, safe, or healthy. Perhaps a sign saying no animals except for worker dogs? Also, why is there no Longer a carpet at the entrance to absorb water, collect ice/dirt, and prevent falls? The floor looked awful today. Theres a build up of dirt and wax from the cleaners (according to the employee). A slip and fall about to happen..

Deterioration of pharmacy service over the last 8 months. Rude counter people in pharmacy and constantly new faces who don't relate to customers. Have been going to pharmacy many years and despite more people in pharmacy service and manners are very bad.

This rite aid has the worst customer service . Every time I go there my prescriptions are never ready know matter when they were sent. This time the pharmacist actually told me I didn't need all my medicine. I just got out of the hospital could barely breathe and had to pay for a ride and they have the audacity to tell me I don't need my things. What!!?! 56th and Chestnut is a horrible Rite aid and I stand on that.

Pharmacy is understaffed, insufficient seating for us elderly people who cant stand for long periods of time and you cant get your much needed medication that was called in the day before and i call this morning and Im told only two employees are working one pharmacist and a employee. I think you need to cut the pay to your ceo, cfo that are millions a year.

I have been a loyal customer for the last 18 years and I dont want to move to a new pharmacy but all the other pharmacies in my town are doing just fine with the closures of the two small pharmacy. I like rite aid and would love to continue using your pharmacy but at this rate and with the amount of medication that I have to take i cant continue like this.Ronald Giles

If I go to a pharmacy, pretty much any pharmacy, in the very large city where I live, there are always just 2-3 employees working. Seating is limited, because obviously they can only fit so much seating. Have your scripts filled BEFORE you go in, so that you don't have to sit and wait.

I like to file a complaint against an employee

My issue was with a fill-in pharmacist on December 3rd I wanted to switch my medications from another Pharmacy to The Rite Aid pharmacy located on 113 East Baltimore Pike and Clifton Heights PA the fill-in pharmacy told me that she was just a feeling and she could not call the old Pharmacy that I was using to transfer my prescriptions instead she said I need to contact my doctor and have him resubmit all of my prescriptions to the store located at 113 East Baltimore Pike. I knew that was not true at all and she did not give me her name and she was not wearing a name tag at the time so I do not have a name for you please help me out with that situation. thank you Glenn Porterfield Sr

No Meds but a lot of Lies

No one from Rite Aid contacted me.

Original review Aug 15, 2022
First, I am a disabled senior citizen with heart problems.I was about to run out of my Blood Pressure and Blood thinner meds.I called Rite Aid on Franklin St.in Mercer,Pa.on a Tuesday to get the refilled.2 Days later I called again to find out where my meds were and got some excuse about my Meds and their delivery but I would have them by Friday..The day I ran out..Friday comes and goes and still no Med..I went 4 days without my Blood Pressure and Blood thinner and my Blood pressure started to climb as high as 220 over 103!!! Called Rite Aids Corporate HQ and they said they would have someone get back to me..2 weeks now and nobody ever got back to me.

For a company that hold people's life in their hands, they just DO NOT CARE!

I could have died because of Rite Aids poor service. I will be contacting a Attorney about Rite Aid practices.

No one works for Rite Aid. This child just ASSumes this because she was told she was wrong. Even if they did their job right, they cannot give her medication without an adult.

I don’t believe your post. Did you have refills on your prescription?

They would always give you enough meds to get you through.

Were your meds last refilled at Rite Aid? Take a pic of your July bottles and post them.

You must work fr Rite aid or are a Scammer!! Do you think for one second I'll post my important information about my Meds and other info that people can use themselves on the internet you are out of your mind!!

And NO Rite Aid did NOT offer enough Meds to get me through...they said they were having problems with their supplier..Now why don't you post your Driver license SS# and bank account routing number so I can see who you are?? Same thing you are asking me to do..Now go bother someone else.

If they were having trouble with the supplier, than it’s not their fault entirely. When the supplier isn’t giving them medicine that are on backorder Rite Aid has no control over it.

However, the pharmacist or pharmacy tech should be explaining that there is a shortage and you would need to contact your dr to let them know so they could try another type of medicine.

This is not their responsibility to call the dr but some pharmacists will do this especially in my pharmacy. Not sure if you misunderstood what was going on but it definitely wasn’t their fault it’s the suppliers.

No one wants any personal info. Black out your name, address and doctor. We just want to see it was last filled in a Rite Aid bottle and the number of refills left.

Terrible Service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

My insurance company forced me to pic a new pharmacy and I chose Rite Aid which now I see as a big mistake. My recent reorder of 4 prescriptions I have listed as the number 4 disaster.

I placed the order on 8-22-22 @ 1015, talking to the ROBOT who said my order would be ready for pickup on 8-23-22 after 2:30 PM. I visited my Rite Aid store ( #05279 )on 8-24-22 and after standing in line for 30 plus minutes, I was told the prescription was not ready. Again on 8-25-22 after standing in line for another 30 plus minutes, I found my order was still not ready. On 8-26-22 I called my Primary Care Physician, seeking help and was told they would contact Rite Aid.

At approximately 3:00 PM on 8-26-22 Rite Aid called and said my order was ready to be picked up, which I promptly drove to pick up. After standing in line again I noted the young lady had my order laying just to the right of the register.

During all this poor service time I tried to contact a real live person by pressing #3 button on the phone. It rang and rang and after so much time I was instructed to press #3, I did this for a period of time on two different occasions, 5 minutes each time. It appears to me no one at this store likes to talk on the phone.

Also while standing in line at the store, a voice on the in store speaker says," Pharmacy line __ ." Someone can not get thru on the pharmacy line so they try another way to get help.

My recommendation would be to get this funky system eliminated or do away with the people causing it. Will wait for your reply, no reply will show your lack of interest.

Pharmacy closed

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
How can a company this size close down its pharmacy on a Saturday. Leaving on vacation and went to pick up two prescriptions and the pharmacy was closed. Have to now go a week with no medication. They said you can go to another rite aid but that was not the case because they had already filled the prescription that was waiting to be picked up. They cant fill it twice. Therefore, they cant fill it again. The one waiting to be picked up was not available because they had no pharmacist. Seriously!

I can understand your frustration. However, the world is short of pharmacists and this includes Rite Aid.

If a pharmacist calls in sick and they do not have a replacement they can’t open the pharmacy without a pharmacist. You should have been told that you could still fill your scripts at another Rite Aid. They could have filled them by pulling them from the other rite aid and they would been notified to put them back.

If a different pharmacy was involved or control substances they wouldn’t have been able to fill them without speaking to the pharmacist. Sorry you were misinformed about how it all works.
