The cashier that took care of me a Jessica She was very rude and rushed me out the door. She was very worried about her phone which she was using while cashing me out. I had to practically beg for a goodbye which even that was scarastic.

attitude. perpetual bug up her ars., puss on her hard face. looks like a bouncer at a bar. tough broad. Acts the same each time in there. Frightening off putting. Can do register. she Was in isle today talking to chubby black woman with glasses when new cashier was at register alone. He needed help. Told her and other one that and was a line up front. No thanks when comes up front and she says she can't do anything to help him as not manager. She rings up customers on other line. I said needed to go as my chinese food waiting. I had 2 dog bones. Woman in front of me had cart full of items. Said I could go ahead. I went to register and red head says I should have eaten lunch earlier. i said was busy, late lunch, early dinner. Not her place to tell me anything. Her job is to scan items and make change or put on card. keep mouth shut, opinion to self that might be considered rude, if don't know person. She doesn't know me. I left ticked off. I went home and asked for manager. Got assistant who listened to me and said would relay this to manager, took my number. I had just picked up expensive medicine, 2 bottles at pharmacy that I can get else where.

Rude cashier at the Capital Trail store - long line waiting and 2 of her guy friends were chatting it up with her while other customers waited and waited... I found nail polish on sale - she didn't give me the sale price and when I let her know she became very snotty and insisted I show her exactly where I found it - even though it was 3 feet away from her - she was a nasty rude cashier and I just totally cancelled an order for $ 52.00 - I spend a fortune in that store - not now. It is store in Pennsauken Nj I was purchasing a clearance item their computer did not recognize it and the cashier would not let me get it for the 75% off. She told me that if the computer says it's not on sale it's not on sale. I asked to see the manager and she said he's going to say the same thing. I will never step in another Rite Aid again. She was very rude and did not take her job seriously. I even called customer service and of course they apologized and apologized.

I was at rite aide on mt.Ephraim and atlantic in Camden. I was on lunch break another customer was being waited on for at least 10. mins., Because she had alot of cupons. I was in a hurry and the cashier was being so slow in all honesty I did get a little irratated. So i yelled to the back of the store "hey this guy needs help" He informed me he was the only one there and he was the manager (because his cashier was on break). So i said you have been on this customer for at least 15 mins. He told me if i was on a hurry I should go somewhere else.After 15 to 20 mins iam staying here. I told him I was sixty four years old and just give me my cigarettes because i dont have time to argrue with him. Then the man told me he didnt have time to argue with a old senile woman. I didnt call him out his name he had not right to call me out of mine. Then he refuse to serve me and said he was calling the police..because i had did nothing wrong i decided to wait for the police. He told the cashier not to serve me then retreated to the back. If I had been harrassed by the police for no reason (and i had witnesses) I would have sued you for embarrassing me among whatever my lawyer can do...this young mans attitude oneday may cost you more money than he is worth By time i got tired of waiting for his threat of the police.My nerves where shot and my Blood pressure was sky high..I will never shop their again ., however i will stop by to see DOES RITE AIDE REALLY CARE. Unfortunately, I'm a pharmacist. We are cut down to one tech now bc your insurance reimbursement does not cover more help. In the world of getting everything quick, we are hampered by no help and 5 phone lines ringing. It's no better anywhere else. My advice.... Plan your life better so you are not in such a hurry. Order rx two or three days ahead, unless it is an acute situation like an antibiotic or you just got out of the er. Pharmacy staffing levels are so low, its impossible to give the service you want or deserve. Who is to blame? Certainly not the pharmacist trying to help 5 people at once, working a 12 hour shift with no break. The pharmacist that went to 6 years of hard college to get a doctorate degree and works nights and weekends because they want to help people with their health care. Not the cashier making 8 bucks an hour and getting brutalized all day long. It trickles down from insurance reimbursement. Next complaint should go to your insurance company. How much do the pay the pharmacy for your $ 500 rx that costs you $10. Ask them that question. Then you will understand the declining world of health care and perhaps, just perhaps you can plan your life just a tiny bit better so everything is not such a crisis. Maybe you could have dropped the prescription off and come back in a day or a few hours and not been so irritable. In the world of instant everything.... Google, order on line, McDonald's drive thru..., you are expecting instant gratification from the health care industry that would love to do it, but their hands are tied by financial constraints of YOUR INSURANCE company. Be pissed at the right people!!! 10 years ago, I had 4 Tecs and could get it to you in 10 minutes. Now we just can't.

Rite Aid - West Windsor NJ - Electronic card readers do not work

The same female Cashier at this location always looks annoyed that she has to check you out at the register. I had to ask her to come up to the register several times knowing I was standing there waiting for some time. The Debit card I used would not be accepted for payment. They tried several times. I went right outside the door and used their ATM machine with the exact same card using debit. It worked just fine. I told the store manager "Tony" who was standing there when I came in the store. I explained the problem and that I had to spend $3.25 ATM fee to get cash to pay for an item that should have been processed with their systems. He looked at me and said nothing. Not an apology. Just turned around and walked away. Probably the worst customer service experience you can provide. Now I understand why there is signs looking for morning help. No one wants to work at this store or for Rite Aid or with the unprofessional , non caring people who work there in the morning. Go to CVS or another pharmacy. Loss of business usually drives companies to make changes in technology and at this store a complete change in staff is needed!

I was verbally attacked by Chris, a cashier at Rite Aid in Gold River, CA. Basically over the fact that the card reader in use was not working properly. I understand they is a transition in place due to the utilization of newly implemented chip cards. And at some retailers we, customers are to either swipe, as previously or insert chip part into actual machine. Chris, was very abusive and plain rude. He insisted I did not or was not following instructions pertaining to processing payment. I turned card machine towards him and he attempted to turn card machine towards me. All while the manager was on the next register. He began to glare at me and make very rude and unprofessional comments to me. I was amazed at his behavior and even told him so. He kept insisting it was my fault the machine wasn't working. I've never felt so berated in my life while buying products at a store. I wish I could have left the situation but due to my card being processed I was left waiting for machine to finish up with processing my payment. Once I was finished with my order I asked to speak to a manager and she was standing next to him the entire interaction, not saying a word about his behavior. I waited for her to finish her orders with other customers and asked her for Chris's name since he didn't have a name tag on. She told me and i expressed my dismay at his utter disregard for the card issue. I haven't gone back to Rite Aid, due to this cashier.
